As a trained Educational Therapist and Mindfulness Coach, I work to support the positive development of children, utilizing brain science and years of experience to help students engage more fully in their academic and social pursuits.

I worked for years as a classroom teacher, trained as a math specialist with the Learning Disabilities Program at Boston Children’s Hospital, worked as an early literacy instructor, consulted on curriculum development at Harvard Graduate School of Education, WGBH, and Scholastic Education, and supported individual students and families as a Tutor, Consultant, and Educational Therapist.I am also a certified Mindful Schools and Little Flower Yoga & Mindfulness instructor, dedicated to helping students connect to and think critically about the ways in which they view and respond to situations or challenges throughout their lives.

In working with students, my job is not to give children the answers to a problem on the page. My role is to help students construct understanding and strategies, along with the belief that they are capable of taking on and working through the problems that arise throughout the day - both in school and at home.
